Love it.
Singing "we're the three best friends that anyone could have..." with the husband and babe. Yeah, we went there. Watching the babe mesmerized by the snow falling outside. Taking two sunny day strolls in one week. Real Housewives. Those crazy women always make me smile. Taking photos of a great couple. Mr. GQ and his lady rocked it. Celebrating Dads birthday with the entire wacky family. Finally getting my "push" present (ring) sized and on my finger!
Leave it.
Road construction. Laundry... will the pile ever just go away? Sleeping patterns of a certain tiny human living in our house. She's lucky she's my favorite!
Here's one of the pic's from the evening. Steph and Lam are getting married in July and I couldn't be more excited for them! Thank you two for letting my very amateur self take some snaps of the two of you. I promise there are lots with Lams face actually in them. But I just had to show off that sparkler! Happy Sunday!

Snow Day... in March
Today on our drive home from work it started to snow. Problem is, it's not December... it's MARCH. Late March! This girl couldn't be more ready for sunshine and sandals. How am I supposed to wear those bright colored skinny jeans I see in every magazine? It's more like Uggs and wool sweaters around here. Awesome.
Sweet P and I parked ourselves in front of the back slider and watched the white stuff come down. Nothing was sticking since it had rained, rained, rained all day long. The simplest things entertain this little lady.
Can we go out in play in it Momma?
Fast forward to now and it's still snowing. We probably have a couple inches piled up. Did I mention it's late March? At least this made for a good excuse to have a nice cozy grilled cheese and soup dinner. The man of the house will never know it was because I forgot to take the chicken out... again... for the third night in a row. Wife of the year right here.

Love it, Leave it
Love it.
The babe crawling to me and climbing up my leg waiting to be picked up. The look on the babes face when I pick her up from staying at Nana and Papas. Who knew it would be so hard for me to not be with her all the time. Taxes done, booyah. Finding out we will actually be getting some cash money back this year, double booyah! Having a baby really does pay off! The slight chance Peyton Manning may be q-backing for the Chiefs, this would make one very happy husband! Having a husband who will run to the gas station (keepin' it REAL classy) to pick up coke and.... candy at 8pm. That same husband grabbing us Starbucks the next morning while the babe and I lay in bed. Yep, he's a keeper. Helping a good friend put together her wedding invites. They turned out perfectly beautiful. Skype conversations with my Momma. I mean... pure craziness! The part where we have to look at her sideways because she can't figure out her camera is just the start. Someone needs to follow that woman around with a video camera.
Leave it.
Daylight Savings Time. Obviously whoever invented this doesn't have children with a bedtime. Burning my entire forearm with boiling water while cooking dinner. Not being able to fully snuggle the babe because of the burnt arm. Portland Trailblazers, get it together guys!
I'll leave you with a picture of baby toes. Happy Sunday!

Sweet Sunday
I have a love hate relationship with Sundays. I basically wish I could live a life of only Saturdays. But this was a special Sunday that made the looming Monday far from my thoughts. Sweet P crawled! For the very first time! She had been doing some scoot-roll-slide type movements to get herself around, but this was the first full on crawl. I was such a proud Momma! It really is an amazing sight to see- for weeks she had been rocking and trying to get her caboose going with little luck. All of a sudden it clicked and she was off and crawling and she hasn't looked back. As if I didn't have enough of an obsession of having clean floors. I will be a mopping machine fo sho!
Anywho, we decided to continue the day of firsts with a trip to the park for a first ride in the ol' swing.
"Ummmm... Momma... are you sure you know how to work this thing?"
"Where's Daddy when I need him?"
"Keep cool Daddy, I don't want to hurt Mommas feelings."
Okay, I can't hold it in any longer. "This is AMAZING!"
He sure does love his little lady.
She even got to ride the pony. This girl is obsessed with her ponies at home. Yes, ponies. She's working on a herd in her bedroom.
This is right about when she tried to convince her Daddio to let her take this pony home with her. I'm pretty sure he discussed the long term costs associated with owning a herd of ponies. Feed, vet bills, boarding fees.
Apparently she'd rather save her money for college. A girl after his heart. Back home we went, without a pony.
Now THAT is a perfect Sunday.

The Pinto Pony
So, I'm not exactly sure where to start off… first blog post. Maybe I can distract you with the some snaps of my little Sweet P.
Let me show you my crawling skills.
Almost there...
"Hey momma!"
I guess you could say this babe is kinda the inspiration behind starting to blog. Mostly I like the idea of being able to document, in a way, her ever changing life. Today happens to be her nine month birthday (yes, we celebrate monthly birthdays) so I'm a little behind the ball. Go figure! I may also try to impress you all with my DIY skills (Haha!), maybe a little recipe experimenting, baking, and everything baby.
Hopefully you check back from time to time!
